We were already attracting many varieties of birds of several sizes with suet and fruit outside our back deck. I bought this for our front yard decorative feeders and decided to put some out on paper plates as a test out back, considering what the other reviewer had to say about the clogged, hard to clean feeders. Flocks of tiny, fun to watch, chirping birds now come out back to get this, not intimidated at all by any of the other larger birds, and they all all but ignore the four varieties of suet that were already out, that they were previously inhaling. So, I will be looking for a nice feeder that accommodates the large pieces of fruit that are included in this. Highly recommended.

I was expecting a really great product based on many of the reviews, but as a few others have noted, there's an abundance of millet in this mix...our southern bird friends wait until the sunflower seed's been gone for hours before they accept the millet. They also don't seem to like some of the fruit...particularly the orange colored cubes; these are always left behind. Even the squirrels won't eat whatever fruit this is. Kaytee has a fruit and nut blend that our birds like, but apparently Amazon does not stock it. Hopefully they will consider it for convenience sake, otherwise off to Target.

I was disappointed with this product. After reading other reviews I was expecting a better blend. When I took the container out of the box, I was impressed as it looked to be mostly seeds and nuts, but once you pour it out it's mostly millet. It does have big chunks of fruit and a few cashews. I'm blending in more black oil sunflower seeds for my backyard birds and squirrels. For the price, it isn't a good value.
